Here’s a healing meditation that I was given by Mother Mary to share with you. You can record it and play it back, or have someone read it for you. I am in the process of learning how to put an audio file online for you. I’ll let you know when I have this figured out.
Healing with Love
Just take a few deep breaths and let your body begin to relax.
Breathing in and breathing out. Letting every muscle in your body relax fully and deeply.
And as you continue to breathe in this way focus on your body, starting at the top of your head, letting your head relax completely, relaxing your eyes, your face, your mouth and all the way down to your chin.
Now let the muscles in your neck relax fully and completely, letting that relaxed feeling move down through your shoulders, breathing out all tension and breathing in relaxation.
Now let that relaxed feeling move down from your shoulders into your arms, your elbows, down to your wrists, into your hand and all the way down to your fingers. You are now completely relaxed from the top of your head to the tips of your fingers.
Now focus again on how relaxed your shoulders feel, breathing out all tension and breathing in relaxation. And let that relaxed feeling move down from your shoulders through your chest and upper back, down to your waist, moving down through your lower back, breathing out tension, and breathing in relaxation.
Now let that relaxed feeling move from your waist, down into your hips, through your thighs, down both legs, into your knees, your lower legs, and into your ankles, your feet and all the way down to your toes.
Continue to breathe out any tension and breathe in relaxation. Now scan your body. If there is any remaining tension, just breathe it out until your whole body is relaxed and comfortable. You are now feeling relaxed from the top of your head down to your toes.
And as you continue to breath, I would like you to think about a time in your life when something very wonderful happened or you were in a place that you loved. Let your mind take you into that memory.
And as you think about that wonderful time and place, look around you and be aware of what you see…… pay attention to what you hear…… and be aware of what you smell……. now focus on how wonderful you feel.
And as you allow yourself to be fully in that memory, begin to be completely aware of how wonderful you feel, being in that wonderful time and place, bringing that feeling fully into your body.
And let that wonderful feeling begin to spread throughout your body, filling every cell and molecule of your body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. Now letting that wonderful feeling settle into your heart.
And focus on your heart, the emotional centre of your body… and let that feeling sit in your heart, expanding, getting stronger, and filling your heart to capacity.
And call on a memory of love and your connection to your source of divine love to fill your heart until it is overflowing with love and wonderful feelings. Imagine your heart filled to capacity with the most wonderful loving feelings that you have ever had.
Now that you are aware of the fullness of your heart, it is time to bring to mind a difficult situation that is causing you to feel distressed at this time. And let this situation sit as a thought in your mind. Remembering as much about the situation as you need to remember…….. knowing that the situation is not happening now, it exists only as a memory, just a thought in your mind.
And be aware of any shape, image or colour that the thought has, letting that situation exist only as a thought in your mind, now taking the form of a shape image or colour.
And just leave that image in your mind as you focus once again on your heart and the wonderful time and place that has filled your heart with a wonderful feeling. Focusing on a memory of love and your divine source of love that fills you completely.
And let the wonderful loving feeling in your heart expand and expand moving up and up until it reaches your mind. That wonderful loving feeling now comes into contact with the shape, image or colour that represents a difficult situation in your life.
And let that wonderful loving feeling wash over that thought in whatever form it has taken. And see that shape, image or colour being washed away by the loving feeling from your heart. And let that wonderful feeling once again fill you up, filling your mind and spreading throughout every cell and molecule in your body.
Now bring your awareness back to that situation that in the past caused distress and know that the distress has been fully dissolved and washed away so that when you think about that situation, it now feels okay. You know that everything has now shifted and from this moment on, your life will be different.
And know that at any time that you are facing a challenging situation, you can call on this wonderful memory and the feeling that it fills your heart with to dissolve and wash away any distress that you feel.
