For those of us who live in Canada, this is Thanksgiving weekend. It’s a time to get together with people we love and be grateful for all that we have. It’s also a time to get stuffed on good food and my favorite, pumpkin pie with whipped cream.
I have the good fortune of being able to go the Quebec City for the weekend with my daughter. We had our family dinner last night so turkey is still on my mind and I got to eat leftover pumpkin pie for breakfast. Yumm.
I glad to see that many of you are signing up with Facebook to join our online family of friends. In order for this to be a place to share and support each other, it’s important that you post whatever you’d like to say to each other.
It’s a great opportunity to share information about what you find on the internet that has been helpful for you and to get to know each other better.
Remember this weekend to spend a few moments and focus on being grateful for all the blessings that you have in your life. And if you don’t live in Canada, it’s still a good idea to give thanks. You just miss out on all of the good food. Too bad. I’ll have another piece of pumpkin pie in your honour
