Lady of the Sun

Sometime in the early 90’s, I went with a friend to the Wesak Festival at Mount Shasta in California. It was an amazing event and my first real introduction to the world of spirituality, meditation, sound healing and all of the rest. It opened my eyes to so many things that I did not know about.

During the weekend, we spent a lot of time in meditation and this is when I first started to have the ability to connect to beings in spirit. I’d had a few messages in my mind before, but nothing like what happened that weekend.

My first experience happened at the bed and breakfast that we were staying at. It was a lovely older home and the owner was so warm and welcoming. She treated us like members of her family and we spent a lot of time chatting with her. On our second day there, we asked her if someone had been in our room because many of our things had been moved to unusual places. She told us that no one had been there, but this was not the first time something like this had happened in her home.

She went on to tell us that she often felt a presence in her home and it was quite common for objects to be moved. She felt comforted by this presence and always wondered if her house was haunted. What happened next was a memorable experience for me…… I started to see and older woman sitting in the rocking chair and could hear her speaking to me. She said she was the woman’s grandmother who had come to help her granddaughter cope with the challenges that she was facing at the time. I was able to pass along information and the home owner confirmed that all of this was true.

I had never had an experience like this before and I was in awe of having this ability, kind of freaked out by the whole experience and began to question my sanity. If it were not for having the woman confirm the information I passed along, I would have guessed that I had been hallucinating. And, I did not know that this was just the beginning of my adventure with beings in spirit.

Near the end of the weekend festival, we were guided through another meditation. I don’t remember what the meditation was about, but I remember clearly what happened to me during it.

A woman came to me and began to speak. She introduced her self as the Lady of the Sun. She was so beautiful and surrounded by light, something like this picture. The energy I felt was so strong, that I was knocked out of my chair and onto the floor. I have no idea how long I was there and I don’t remember much of what she said to me, just that she said that we have work to do together and was I willing to work with her.

Without really knowing what I was agreeing to, I said, “Yes”. That was the last I heard from her until last week when she reappeared during a shamanic journey.

Ever since the Wesak Festival in the early 90’s, I have been trying to find out who the Lady of the Sun is. I read many books and have searched the internet many times trying to get more information about her. I never found anything that even gave me a clue who she was.

It felt really strange having made a sincere commitment to work with someone without even knowing who she was. I just knew that I loved her loving presence when she came to me, felt like I had known her forever, and knew that working with her was the right thing for me to do. And, I did not understand why I had waited so many years to reconnect to her, but I have, and what a wonderful connection it is.

I have learned that she is the being known as Lady Nada. I searched the internet and found a bit of information, but not too much. To me she does look similar to the lady in this picture which is a picture of Lady Nada, but I see her as dressed in very opulent  clothing with many colorful beads and jewels, looking something like a princess out of the Arabian nights stories.

The Lady of the Sun is Lady Nada and her energy is so warm an loving and apparently, we have some work to do together. I still have no idea what that work might be, but I have learned to be patient with her and know that it will all be known to me at the right time.

This has been part of the change I have been going through, being attuned to her energy so that we can communicate freely. This is becoming easier. She will be giving me messages to pass along and I’m looking forward to beginning our work together.

Another big adventure on my journey with Spirit.
